Welcome to Organics NZ ~ An Organic Supplement company that is 100% owned and operated by us, Grant & Megan Catley.
In 2010 we had a wonderful opportunity to travel around Cambodia. During this time, we loved the beauty of the country, its people and culture. In 2013, we decided the timing was right, to give our young family (then aged 2, 4 and 7) an amazing life experience, and moved to Cambodia to work on a dairy project.
Whilst living in Cambodia’s capital city, Phnom Penh, we were introduced to the health benefits of one of the world’s most well-known superfoods, Spirulina.
After experiencing the benefits of daily Spirulina supplementation, we wanted others to have access to this Superfood as well. Doctor’s bills were reduced by 80% within a 3-month period and other noticeable benefits included:
- Cuts, scrapes and bruises healed a lot faster
- Bowel movements became more consistent
- Improved energy levels and an overall increase in body health, wellness and immunity
- Afternoon energy levels increased
- Nails become stronger and hair shinier.
The beginning of Organics NZ
South East Asia has the ideal climate for the growing of Spirulina and in 2014 we began our Spirulina Farm and business.
Cambodian customers included high end pharmacies (Ucare Pharma & Guardian Pharmacy); an international Chiropractic Clinic; expatriate supermarkets and numerous private customers.
After 2 years building the farm and business, we decided to hand the daily operation to our local Khmer partner and relocated home to New Zealand.
Supplement suppliers
After settling our young family (now 9, 12 and 15) back into New Zealand life, our focus became Organic Supplements.
Our Company, Organics NZ, formed a Partnership with Myanmar company June Pharamaceuticals and became their sole Organic Spirulina distributor, in Australasia. Together, we have built a reliable and trusting relationship.
June Pharmaceuticals’ Organic Spirulina is grown in northern Myanmar, in natural Spirulina lakes. The Spirulina lakes have been certified Organic, are 100% toxin and pesticide free.
Along with Organic Spirulina, we also include Maca Root, Turmeric with Kampot Black Pepper and Grapefruit Seed Extract as part of our Organic Supplement range. These Organic Supplements are imported in a raw and dried form from Indonesia, Peru, Cambodia & China.
Organics NZ manufacture, package and distribute our Super Food range under New Zealand’s FSANZ standards. This is of utmost importance to us, to ensure our products are of a high quality and customer trust can be assured.
